officiant john zimmer

Rev. Zimmer was recommended by my sales coordinator at City Park. After I booked him, I heard so many more wonderful things about him. He did a very nice job, but he did make me nervous a few times leading up to the wedding. He is hard to get in touch with and he doesn't have a written contract. Each time I called him, I had to call again at least 2-3 times before he called me back. He doesn’t do rehearsals; he just spends a few minutes with you before the ceremony letting you know the run down. I did speak with him on the phone a couple weeks before the wedding, to finalize names of speakers and go over the details, and that made me feel more comfortable. Overall, his ceremony was warm and genuine, and I’m so glad that we chose him as our officiant. He threw in some personal touches, which made us feel like he really knew us, even though we met for the first time that day!

John was a great officiant for our wedding. He did an excellent job performing our ceremony and we had only met him once for 15 minutes. He will definitely cater your ceremony to your liking.

John sets the stage and does a beautiful ceremony. We laughed and cried and enjoyed every minute of it. He spoke to us a few times before the ceremony and learned key facts about how we met and tidbits about our life together to include in the ceremony. It sounded like he had known us for years. He also makes things as spiritual or not spiritual as you want it. The ceremony was catered to us as a couple and we both really enjoyed it. He is awesome!!!

He asked me about my fiance and my relationship prior to the ceremony to persoanlize it. He did a very good job. Very nice
