Wonderful Weddings in New Orleans

Rev Cross was very helpful and was very accommodating with our special request to include my uncle in our ceremony. He always responded quickly when we had questions leading up to the ceremony and arrived on time.

Rev Cross was the most helpful person and did so much in such a short amount of time. My husband and I wanted to elope. I called him on Monday November 8...we were married (by rev cross) Thursday November 11. He is not a travel agent or booking agent as he tells you, but he asked us what it was we were looking for and found it all for us. My husband and I met Rev Cross at Bombay Club, a fabulous restaurant he recommended, where we were married. Rev contacted a local florist and showed up with bouquet and boutineer (spelling?) in hand as well as the photographer we asked for. Everything was planned via email and we did not meet him until we were walking into the restaurant, which was fine because we wanted to enjoy ourselves for the short time we were in New Orleans. He even made the reservations for us at the restaurant. If I had to do this all over again I wouldn't have changed a single thing. He made everything so simple and took all the guesswork out because we had no idea where to begin!

Reverend Cross... was very much the guy we found on the internet. We were in the somewhat difficult position of making all of our wedding arrangements from out of town. Even so, we were in town a decent amount, and while we managed to meet with all of our other vendors Rev. Cross never made himself available to meet. So the first time we ever laid eyes on him was at our wedding ceremony. And what a ceremony it was. Admittedly, we were running fairly late, but that's pretty normal isn't it? When we arrived we had already received numerous messages from our best man that the Rev. was in a big hurry to get going - apparently he'd scheduled our ceremony in City Park (in New Orleans) for 4pm, and another ceremony at 6pm IN BATON ROUGE! Not only that, but we were already his third ceremony for the day! No wonder he never had time to meet - apparently he stacks up weddings like a doctor schedules appointments - as many as he can cram into a day. At first we thought his pricing was fair: we thought we would get a real personalized ceremony, and he makes much of his "audio recording" of the ceremony. Well, he did use the ceremony that we carefully hand crafted, but he read it straight from a three ring binder - the "personalized portfolio" that he so proudly touts, and his delivery was so overstated as to be laughable. And it turns out that his audio recording is a cassette tape! We'll have to go buy a player to be able to listen to it, if they even sell such things any more. If you are considering Reverend Cross, I STRONGLY advise you to keep looking!
